My sincere thanks to “The Dragon Master”, Todd Dunlap for the tireless decoy work and huge donation of his time, and to my training brothers and sisters at West Penn Mondio. Thanks also to the other decoys who worked T during our stay in Pa helping us prepare, David Broderick, Zackery Kiser, Paul V Anthony, and the boys from Steel City Working Dog Club, Jason and Dale. The willingness of all these people to help us prepare is humbling.

Feist

Goodbye my beloved Feist
The world said goodbye to a legend yesterday after 14 years of leaving his mark in the dog world. Feist Du Loups Du Soleil was the first to achieve the triple crown of dog sports, FR3, MR3, IPO3–and competed at the national and world level in those. He was perhaps the most decorated and versatile Malinois and he inspired me and many others to venture into many different avenues of sport with our dogs. Most importantly he was a fantastic dog, constant companion and best friend to his mom, Lisa Maze. I’m certain he touched all who had the pleasure of meeting him and we all have our favorite memories of his confident, funny, and entertaining character. I am thankful for the gifts he has given me–Phendi & Pyton–and I hope that time, support, and happy memories can help his mom’s healing process. Feist you are a legend, one in a million, thank you for leaving us your legacy, rest easy my friend.

Fever’s official photo with judge Linda Kip from yesterday. She finished her AKC Agility Championship, and Qed in and won all classes she was entered in! Love my Fever, she is a perfect dog! She got extra goodies and attention and then a trip to the big lake for trail walking and running and swimming on the beach. It was a great day with my GREAT dog! Thank you to Michael Ellis for breeding and choosing her for me. And her title is dedicated to her father Feist, owned by Lisa Maze, for being the incredible dog he is and inspiring me to choose a LdS dog.
