Fever’s official photo with judge Linda Kip from yesterday. She finished her AKC Agility Championship, and Qed in and won all classes she was entered in! Love my Fever, she is a perfect dog! She got extra goodies and attention and then a trip to the big lake for trail walking and running and swimming on the beach. It was a great day with my GREAT dog! Thank you to Michael Ellis for breeding and choosing her for me. And her title is dedicated to her father Feist, owned by Lisa Maze, for being the incredible dog he is and inspiring me to choose a LdS dog.

Kaboom (Kaboom du Loups du Soleil bred by Michael Ellis), a Belgian Malinois trained and handled by Michael Burkey of Michigan Dog Training in Plymouth, Michigan stars in the movie “Mr. What?” which just finished shooting in Canton, Michigan.
The movie is about a man convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and how he copes upon his release from prison. During his adjustment to freedom, he befriends a dog (Kaboom) or we really should say the dog befriends the man and ends up being the hero in the movie. Earlier scenes were shot in late summer of 2013 in Tecumseh, Michigan which included an action scene where Burkey was not only the dog trainer on set but also a stunt man for one of the characters.
