Fuck Cancer. One of the kindest people I have known, Debra Parker Hawkins passed away last night in California. Deb was an amazing dog trainer and even better Lady. That wonderful Lady changed my life and started me on a path that I will be forever grateful for. Through the crazy protection dog sport of Mondioring, I have met so many wonderful people who have added much joy and certainly a mental health break to my otherwise very serious career. To this wonderful Lady I say, rest in peace. You will be forever missed. To cancer…Fuck you.. -Gail Warling Marit

Some say it is all about the dogs. Truthfully, it is all about the people we meet that share our passion… – Donna — with Debra Parker-Hawkins and Maya Conrad.

I am very saddened to say that USMRA lost a great person and good friend. I will always remember Deb for her genuinely warm smile. She was dedicated and followed her passion in the Dog sport world. Deb shared enthusiasm and excitement with many people and will be sorely missed.
