I’Gotit 2012-2017
I’Gotit du Loups du Soleil was one of the great ones. Dogs like him don’t come around often and I’m beyond thankful and blessed to have had him in my life. If you ever got the chance to meet him, you know what I mean.
Yesterday was a hard day. He woke up not feeling well so I made a vet appt for later that day. Before our appt came, he started going down hill so I rushed him in. By the time I arrived at the vet, I had to carry him in. They quickly found a cancerous tumor which had formed an enormous amount of blood and fluid around his heart, putting immense pressure on it. (Hemangiosarcoma) There was nothing to do except be there with him and tell him what an amazing dog he was. It all happened so quickly, it’s still hard to believe. He would have been 6 this coming January.
Gotit was truly an amazing dog. He was my best cuddler and incredible to work with. There’s an unmistakable void in my life now. He will always have a place in my heart.

Izzy High in Trial MR1
Izzy and I repeated our MR1 in Colorado at the Black Diamond “Life’s a Circus” Mondioring trial on 10th September 2017, earning a 189 and High in Trial.
She lost a few points here and there – two commands on the send away; two whistles on the recall after the defence, but I was very pleased with her attitude and confidence.
Thanks to decoys David Broderick and Kevin Bain, Judge Don Lee, Ann Malberg for your calm, clear presence as deputy judge, and the Black Diamond WDA for a fun weekend.
